Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Group Therapy for Low Sexual Desire
This group runs several times each year and is suitable for women of all sexual orientations:
Over 18 years old
Struggling with reduced sexual interest, motivation, or arousal
Without current severe mental health concerns that might make group therapy challenging

Facilitated by Dr. Morag Yule, C.Psych and Willa McCaffrey-Noviss, MEd, RP(Q)
Fee: $150 per group session, plus a one-hour individual intake session
Total $1350

Sliding scale or complimentary spots may be available by application and on a very limited basis.
Based on the mindfulness-based cognitive therapy manuals developed by Dr. Lori Brotto (author of Better Sex Through Mindfulness: How Women Can Cultivate Desire and The Better Sex Through Mindfulness Workbook, used with permission) and her research team at the University of British Columbia, this group will encourage women to (re)connect and engage with their sexuality by:
developing and practicing mindfulness skills
learning accurate and up-to-date information on women’s sexuality and sexual response
discussing the ways in which sexual interest and motivation are influenced by thoughts, feelings, and behaviours
reflecting on the potential role of intimate relationships on sexual concerns
gaining benefit from other group member’s experiences and support
